Abstract

A growing social problem in Malaysiaand elsewhere, is enabling older adults to continue living independently, as opposed to moving to an institutional care setting. One key part of this complex problem is providing awareness on senior adults' day-to-dayt activites, promoting "peace of mind" for extended family members . The Digital CareNet Potrait (DCP) is designed to provide peace of mind that has shown promise. In the first year of the project, we have designed the Digital Carenet Potrait (DCP)system that can emotion health, social connected index and healthcare of the elderly. The next phase of the project will be to conduct pilot study with collaborated community.
